Graphical Indicators with Custom Fields - Microsoft Project Server 2013 | Microsoft Project Online

Microsoft Project Server/Online facilitates with several custom fields that a user can define and use to meet their organization's needs. You can create new custom fields that full fill your specific requirement, customize an existing field and then insert it into your project,  or you can also simply rename existing fields to customize them.

Enterprise Custom Fields includes different sets of variables, option of inserting custom formulas, can use lookup tables (as defined by user) and graphical indicators to add look & feel to a value. In example below I have done same thing, I have used the Project Percentage Completion value & by using graphical indicators i have added some colors to a number value.

The Content Query Web Part allows you to display content from anywhere in your site collection with your choice of filtration, grouping and styling; it’s a handy web part for rolling up content to a Dashboard or creating an Archive view of content.
The Content Query Web Part is generally used to display  a list based on certain criteria by user where the List Type, List Content and Additional Filters help you generate a view with less effort and time.

According to Wikipedia, “A precise definition of outsourcing has yet to be agreed upon. Thus, the term is used inconsistently. However, outsourcing is often viewed as involving the contracting out of a business function – commonly one previously performed in-house – to an external provider. In this sense, two organizations may enter a contractual agreement involving an exchange of services and payments.

Probably the most well known form of outsourcing, or at least the form of outsourcing that brought attention to the practice is inappropriately termed offshore outsourcing. Outsourcing does not have to be conducted with companies or freelancers who are in fact offshore.  Such terms as near shoring or multi sourcing and strategic outsourcing best describe the way the industry has evolved. 3rd party Outsourcing has advanced from being a value protecting measure to becoming a value-creating measure.
